JUSTICES OF THE PEACE.
ANmjAL MEETING HELD. A good financial position was announced at the annual meeting of the Auckland Justices of the Peace Association, and the year generally was reported on as satisfactory. The following officers were appointed:—President, Mr. P. J. H. Ellisdon; vice.-presidente, Msssrs. J. W. Bissett, W. J. Potter and L. S. Rickerby; secretary and treasurer, Mr. Charles Wheeler; auditor, Mr. E. C. Phillips; council, Mesers. A. Rosser, A. J. Stratford, S. J. Marks, G. Magee and D. Donaldson.
