The Te Awa (Auckland Wednesday afternoon, or Maori for "The Stream) eleven; •will open their mid-week cricket season with a match against King's College at the college ground, Middlemore, on Wednesday next. King's College has a very promis-. ing first eleven, No. 11 being the only one under suspicion of not being able to make > runs in good style. The following will! represent Te Awa: —E. C. Beale, A. L. Caughey, P. W. Clarkson, W. J. Coates, M. F. Cock, H. Duncan, S. B. Morris, P. Shaw, F. S. Taylor, K. H. Wilson, S. Wilson.
