MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
Moanataiari.—The manager reports that cutting out the chamber and timbering the same was completed on Tuesday, and sinking the shaft was started on Wednesday, which is now down Oft. The intention is to sink this shaft until the main body of water is cut, or to the capacity of thepump. This will enable work to be done well underneath the three winzes that were sunk ou the reefs. Gold was carried down in all these winzes. From the bottom of the shaft a crosscut will be made to try and pick up the lost portion of the main Cam- • 'ttria reef. -
