IMPORTANT COAL DEAL.
WAIPA AND WILTON. Shareholders in the Waipa Railway and Collieries, Ltd., have been notified that the directors have recently entered into an arrangement with Wilton Collieries, Ltd., whereby the latter company has acquired one-half interest in the Waipa Company's railway for £25,000, payable as to £15,000 in cash in three instalments, and a 8 to £10,000 in ten thousand £1 shares in Wilton Collieries, Ltd. The length of the railway concerned is exclusive of that portion on the company's freehold on which are situated the mine buildings and mine sidings. The arrangement provides for joint working of the railway by the two companies. The directors also advise shareholders that the company has taken up five thousand £1 shares in Waikato Carbonisation, Ltd..
