CONSULAR CORPS.
RE-ELECTION OF DEAN
M. Paul Serre, Consul for France, was manimously re-elected Dean of the Auckland Consular Corps at the t-.nnual meeting yesterday, a post he has held since 1923.
Mr. A. AI. Ferguson, Consul for Beijium, was re-elected deputy-dean. 3 It was decided to place a wreath on the Cenotaph on Anzac Day, and to invite the wives of consuls to the next, consular dinner on June 2. A number of toasts were honoured. M. Serre. Messrs. W. F. Bovle, Consul for United States, and Mr. Ferguson were appointed a committee to determine protocol questions.
