"CONFIDENCE IN THE COMMITTEE."
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON,, this day. i The Local Bills Committee of the . House of Representatives concluded the hearing to-day of evidence from representatives of local bodies and othet bodies on the provisions of the Urban Farm Lands Rating Bill.
The Hon. de la Perrell© expressed regret that Ministerial duties had prevented his attending the sittings of the committee and hearing the evidence, but said that in any case he had full confidence in the committee, and in the final result of their deliberations.
