Murderous Jack The Ripper Outrages. DUSSELDORF SCARED. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 1.30 p.m.) BERLIN, October 15. Terror is spreading in Dusseldorf, owing to the Jack tlie Ripper scare, seven outrages, some of which have proved fatal, having taken place. The murderer springs out from dark corners and stabs passing women with a tiny dagger. The latest arrest was a man in woman's clothing, carrying a revolver, who was captured in a dark deserted spot haunted by the murderer, but the arrested man was able to prove that he was an amateur detective searching for Jack the Ripper, having been attracted bv the reward of 3000 fliarks.
Yesterday a beautiful girl of eighteen died as the result of a hammer attack, making the eighth victim.
