SHIPPING RETURNS.
65,000 TONS FOR DOMINIONS. (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received 11 a.m.) , LONDON, October 15. Llovd's Register shipbuilding returns - f or the quarter, to September 3d, show the total world tonnage of constructed • ships 2,517,339, of which 1,448,355 were : built in Great Britain.The latter figure i shows a decrease of 5551 in work in 1 hand, compared with last June, but an i increase of 35,895 on tonnage being built ' jat the end of 1928. The tonnage being i built in Britain includes 65,000 intended ; j for the Dominions. There are 651,875 (tons in motor ships being built in ! Britain and 879,878 abroad.
