N.S.W. FLOODS RECEDE
Losses To Crops Estimated At £25,000. TWO LIVES LOST. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. After reaching a critical level the flood water of the Hawkesbury River commenced to recede. Farmers estimate the losses to crops at £25,000. The floods have taken two lives. The body of a boy, three years old, was recovered by the police from ten feet of water at* Tenterfield and the body of a man was taken from a creek near Villawood. A landslide occurred in the south coast line and railway traffic has been suspended.
