Mac Donald's Farewell Message To America. "UNITED BY CAUSE OF PEACE." (Australian Press. Assn. —United Service.) (Received 10 a.m.) NIAGARA FALLS, October 15. Mr. NacDonald crossed the International Bridge into Canada at noon on Tuesday. In his farewell message to the United States he said: "As I step across the border I do so. rich with proofs that while the "Atlantic divides us, the cause of peace unites us." Speaking at Niagara Falls last evening Mr. Mac Donald said he regarded the falls as symbolic of the work he had been trying to do in the United States. "When I came here 32 years ago," he said,'- "it seemed that the falls would defy the thought, ingenuity and power of man through eternity. But I came again last year and found that the will of man had overcome the most potent of nature's powers. "What are we peacemakers doing? We are trying to control the untamed, unbridled nature of mankind."
