LYCEUM CLUB DANCE.

A very bright and successful daiici was held by the Dance Circle of th< Lvceum Club in the clubrooms last even hig. Dancing was held in the large din ing room and, the dividing doora beinj thrown open, the guests were able to si in tha comfortable lounge, which wai beautifully arranged with large bowls o azaleas in rose and white. A large num ber of dancers were present and, excel lent music being supplied by the Clicl Clack orchestra, things went with £ swing from start to finish. Supper wa: served in the card room and the table* looked most attractive with tall crysta vases in which golden Iceland pop pie: were arranged. The ladies on the crm mittee were: Misa Maida Hooker (con vener), who wore a frock of willow greei satin; Mrs. Eric Waters, primrose geor :;ette with black shawl; Mrs. IL. A Steadman, black georgette beaded ii black, bine and white: Mrs. C. Ven-an black'taffeta with floral pattern inlet ii full skirt: Mrs. Carl Dickinson, blacland gold lace over palest pink georgette Mr 6. C Hammer, ivory taffeta with pointer tulle draperies: Miss Thelnia St. Claii Whyte, leaf green georgette with over dress of cream lace. Among others pre sent were: Mrs. Iv. Moore, citron shaded embossed chenille georgette; Mrs. H. Richards, leaf gret-n beaded georgette; Mrs. Mil'liken, black georgette and Tace; Mrs. J. P. O'Connor, jade georgette and gold lace; Miss D. Tancred, Chinese red spotted net over taffeta; Miss Myra Hart (Cambridge), green chenille frock; Miss C.
