GIFT TO ORPHANAGES.
CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. An anonymous gift of £500 was received to-day for St. Saviour's Orphanages, which are conducted by the English Church in the Christchurcli diocese. The gift was handed in to the orphanage offices this afternoon.
