TRACED TO OYSTERS.
TYPHOID INFECTION. ONE CONSIGNMENT BLAMED. NO MORE CASES REPORTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The source of the outbreak of typhoid in Christchurch was a consignment of oysters received on September 5, announced Dr. Telford, medical officer of health. No further cases of typhoid have been notified since the six now under treatment.
