DIED SUDDENLY.
MEMBER OF BAND TRIO. WELL-KNOWN CHARACTER. One of the string band trio who have for years played around Auckland streets, died suddenly to-day. They were playing aboard the ferry steamer coming across from Devonport when the harpist, Domenico Nigro, complained of feeling ill and went below. He was found a short time later in a state of collapse and died before the boat reached Auckland. The dead man had been receiving medical attention for heart trouble, and a death certificate has been issued.
