MISHAP ON STEAMER.
SEAMAN INJURED. Engaged in unloading cargo on .the Shaw, SaviH and Albion steamer Tairoa, early this afternoon, a seaman, Mr. James Green, aged 23, was caught in the machinery of a winch and had several ribs and his right shoulder-blade broken. He was taken to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition is not reported to be serious.
