VETERINARY TREATMENT.
MORRINSVILLE PROPOSAL. At a meeting of the MorrinsviU'e branch of the Farmers' Union a long discussion took place on the proposal to secure a qualified veterinary surgeon for the Morrinsville district. A committee submitted recommendations to form a veterinary club, but after considerable discussion it was agreed upanimously that before matters were finalised the veterinary authorities in Australia, the Appointment Board of Cambridge University, and the Royal College of Veterinarians, London, be written to, pointing out the opening in Morrinsville for a surgeon.
