WARSPITE AND ARACHNE.
BOTH PACERS HAVE COLDS,
The Epsom trainer J. Shaw intended taking three pacers, Warplane, WarBpite and Arachne, to the Waikato meeting, but on Wednesday last Warspite contracted a cold and his trip was cancelieid. On Thursday afternoon Arachne also was coughing, and when Shaw left for Hamilton on Friday morning he had only Warplane. The trouble may quickly "disappear, and as both Arachne and Warspite are well forward they should not suffer greatly*
