POMP DEVELOPS COLIC AND GOES
MAD.
(By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. The following returned by the Ulimaroa to-dav: P. Mason (Honour and Jaleux); H. Telford (Sunkissed); W. Rayner (Ceremony, Pomp, Pedestal and Drastic); H. Lorigan (Concentrate, Oratrix, Oral, Cimabue, Royal Duko and Dolmite). Also on board were Limerick and Arikinui, F. D. Jones having gone on to Melbourne with. Paquito. Pomp developed colic yesterday, went mad and injured himself severely. He will be unable to race at the Wellington spring meeting. Mr. G. M. Currie stayed in Sydney. Returning sportsmen on board were: Messrs. G. D. Greenwood, H. A. Knight, H. E. Card, W. Higgins, and H. Murphy. Nightmarch goes to Melbourne, so will' not run in the New Zealand Cup.
