RIOTOUS WRESTLING. Referee Thrown Out Of RingBy Zikmund. A MELBOURNE SENSATION. (Australian and X.Z. Press Association.) (Received 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. There was a disgraceful exhibition of -wrestling- at the Stadium -when Joe Zikmund, the American, attacked Referee Tom Bridges and threw him out of the ring. Bridges hurried back and crowned the other -wrestler, Jim Browning, an American. Thereupon Zikmund rushed the referee again, hut was promptly attacked by Browning, who secured a strangle hold. The referee gave help, and hostilities then ceased. The bout from the beginning was a series of uppercuts, thumb and knuckle "ouging, nose and ear pulling. Both men were in a bad way when they left the ring. Zikmunci's career in Australia has been marked by "incidents." When he met I'csek at the Sydney Stadium in August his tactics ended in the police interfering and stopping the match.
