WAIUKU, this day. The visitors at the official opening of the Waiuku Bowling and Croquet Club's green included Mr. J. M. Thomson, of the Auckland Bowling Centre. The president of the bowling club, Mr. J. 0. Crouch, declared the green open, and Mrs. Crouch threw the first jack. Mrs. H. Flavell, president of the croquet ckib, declared the crocjuet green open. During the afternoon the president of the bowling club presented the green superintendent, Mr. H. Flavell, with a pipe, as a mark of appreciation of his services. M;s Fenwick, who was secretary of the club for. many years, was preseStefr with a silver plate on the occaslcrii of her silver wedding anniversary. Results of matclfes played: —Waters, O'Doughlin, J.
