OTAGO COACH QUESTION.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. So far no word lias been received from Cliarles Todd, who was deputed by the Otago Cricket Association to look out for a likely coach during liis visit to England. An application for tlie position, however, has come to hand, and it is to be considered by the coaching committee. It is from J. S. Taylor, formerly a New South Wales representative, wlio coached in Nelson last year, and who played for Wellington. Also lie is desirous of settling in New Zealand, and if his coaching ability is in conformity with his talents as a player he should be capable of filling the position as coach with credit.
