TWO CARS COLLIDE.
As a result of a collision betweed two cars, one a touring model and the other a light car, which occurred at the juncture of Lower Svmonds Street and Waterloo Quadrant about 2.15 on Satinday afternoon, the light car was o\eiturned and thrown against the gate of the Supreme Court grounds. Nobodv was hurt, and the gate also escaped lightly. The heavy car was going down Syvnonds Street, and the smaller model was coming out of Alten Road across the main road. The collision took place when both swerved in towards the Supi' ellie Court.
A CAR AFIRE,
After skidding oil the loose metal at a corner of the Great South Koad, j |lst south of Penrose, about <3 p.m. on Satur day. a small motor car overturned !" 11 caught lire. The driver and one.pass® 1 ger escaped in a hurry. The lire was put out with the aid hand-extinguishers supplied by buses which appeared opportunely, I'® interior of the car and electrical wnn'c were- badly damaged.
