CARS AND CYCLES COLLIDE. \ INJURIES TO RIDERS. ELDERLY MAX HURT. As tlie result of being struck by a motor cycle on Saturday, Mr. Peter Kerr received injuries to the head, including a fractured skull. He was taken to the ! hospital, and his condition to-day is | reported to be not serious. Mr. Kerr is aged 07 years, and was employed at | St. Joseph's Convent, Remuera. The condition of Mr. Sehvyn Workman. aged 18, who was admitted to the hospital with a broken leg, is not serious. He met with an accident on a farm at Pokeno. As the result of a collision between his motor cycle and a motor car at Onehunga shortly after noon yesterday, Mr. Thomas Ralph Grayson, received a broken leg. He was taken to the hospital by the driver of the car. His condition to-day is reported to be not serious. Mr. Grayson lives at 352, Queen Street, Onehunga, and is aged 25 years. Riding a motor cycle near Wells ford yesterday afternoon, Ernest Charles Fair, aged 15, sustained a compound fracture of the leg when his machine was involved in a collision with a motor car. lie was brought into the hospital by car from his home at Wellsford. His condition to-day is not serious.

ACCIDENTALLY GASSED

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. William Brooklands, an elderly newsseller, was found gassed in his room on Friday afternoon. He had been repairing a, gas stove. He was sent to the hospital and is now recovering.
