A daring robbery was perpetrated on the premises of Sir. George Sweetman, jeweller, last evening. A plate glass window of his shop in the main street was broken and jewellery, consisting mostly of wristlet watches, was stolen. The robbery was discovered early this morning. Appearances indicate that the thief made a hurried exit.
