SPATS LOSE FAVOUR.
Spats are becoming unpopular among well-dressed Englishmen. Among the hundreds of doctors who attended the meeting at Manchester of the British Medical Association, hardly a dozen wore spats. Nearly all of them, however, wore dark suits and high, stiff collars, despite the heat.
