TO SAVE THE INDUSTRY.
CO-OPERATION WANTED. QUEENSLAND PREMIER ACTS. (Australian and.N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 10.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, October 11. During a discussion upon the estimatesin the Legislative Assembly, the Premier, Mr. Moore, alluded to the 'serious position ot the wool industry. He expressed the hope that an Empire wide marketing scheme for wool would be evolved bringing in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. He ' recognised that no scheme of organised marketing could be forced on Australian pastoraKsts, but he was now in communication with graziers' associations throughout the Commonwealth, and the Federal Ministry suggested that thw problem should be taken up , without delay in order to try to put the wool industry on its feet again.
