MORRINSVILI.E. Tbe Morrinsville Borough Council met ou Thursday evening, the Mayor (Mr. W. McPherson) presiding. ■ . ■ Reference was made to the dangerous nature of the intersection of Park Street and Thames Street, and a special committee was set up to prepare a.report on the traffic question at this corner. A suggestion that ■ the Works Committee inquire into the price and desirability of placing a series of small domes on a line to guide traffic at several dangerous corners was adopted. • ■ '■■;• . '. , ."■ An application by Mr. K. Grigsby for permission to erect a ke.rbside pump was referred to tbe Works'" Committee.' Councillor Chapman said the council had had a great deal of trouble with these pumps In the past, and now practically every one bad been removed from the kerb. ' . . , It was decided to open Jhe Municipal Baths on Labour Day.
