PAPAKURA ORPHANS' CLUB.

The second "Ladies' Evening" of the Papakura Orphans' Club was held in the Paragon Theatre last evening, when the president (Bro. W. K. Francis) presided over a crowded hall. The hall was elaborately decorated with a variety of flowers and greenery, and the musical programme was first class, making the evening a decided success. Visiting brethren with their ladies were present from the Auckland, Onelmnga, Otahuhu, Pukekohe, Takapuna, Birkenhead and Northcote and Tamaki Clubs. The president (Bro. W. K. Francis) extended a very hearty welcome to the ladies and visiting brethren, which, was replied to by Bro. Professor Maxwell-Walker. The following artists contributed to the programme:—Bros.
