Dr. E. Marsden, of Wellington, is at the Star Hotel. ' Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Bowden (Masterton) and Mr. S. H. Base (Wellington) are at Hotel Cargcn. Mr. H. C. Thomas, New Zealand manager of the Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, is in Auckland at the CentrarHotel. Mr. J. E. Hunt, president of the New Zealand Motor Body Builders' Association, accompanied by Mr. David Taylor, is at the Star Hotel. The Hon. Sir Frederic Lang, the Hon. C. J. Carrington and the Hon. F. Marnier, M.L.C.'s, arrived by the Limited this morning. Arrivals at the Royal Hotel are: Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton (Whnngarei), Mr. A. Hephan (Taumarunui), Mr. G. R. Briscoe (Gisborne). The Hon. J. B. Donald, PostmasterGeneral, arrived in Auckland to-day by the express. He will remain in Auckland for the week-end. Mr. J. W. Collins, secretary of Industries and Commerce, arrived in Auckland this morning to attend the conference of Associated Chambers of Commerce. Mr. J. W. Mawson, Director of Town Planning, of Wellington, Mr. Page, also of Wellington, and Professor Hercus, of Dunedin, left for Wellington by train last evening. Mr. F. Casey, divisional superintendent of North Island Railways, who has been on a Departmental visit to Wellington, returned to Auckland this morning by the Limited. Mr. C. P. Agar, vice-president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce, arrived in Auckland this morning to be present at the conference of the ■ associated chambers, which will commence on Monday. Mr. H. H. Sterling, general manager of New Zealand Railways, was a passenger by the Limited as far as Frankton this'morning. He will complete his journey to 'Auckland this afternoon, where he will spend the week-end. Delegates to the conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce from Christchurch are: Mr. J. Roy Smith (secretary), Mr. F. Norton Francis, Mr. A. S. Wright, Mr. C. H. Hewlett, Mr. W. Machin, Mr. V. E. Hamilton. Among the guests at the Grand Hotel are: Mr. and Mrs. F. Graham, Mr. and Mrs. H. Turner, Mr. W. Henderson (Christchurch), Mr. F. Shrimpton .(Timaru), Mr. and Mrs. W. McCutcheon (Wellington). Mr. L. A. Paish, His Majesty's Trade Oommiseioner in New Zealand, was a passenger from Wellington to Auckland by the Limited this morning, where he will attend the conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce. Arrivals at the Central Hotel are: Mr. and Mrs. D. J. McGowan (Wellington), Mr. and Mrs. J. Richards (Stratford), Mr. E. V.- Spear (Palm erston-North), Mr. A. Rankin, Mr. W. J. Gilberd, Mr. H. Collier (Wanganui), Mr. E. Smith, Mr. H. P. West, Mr. A. C. Cameron, Mr. A. H. Allen, Mr. H. C. Campbell (Dunedin). Messrs. J. W. Munro (Dunedin North), H. M. Rushworth (Bay of Islands), H. R. Jenkins (Parnell), W. J. Jordan (Manukau), W. E. Parry (Auckland Central), F. Lye (Waikato), M. J. Savage (Auckland West), A. W. Hall (Hauraki), H. G. R. Mason (Auckland Suburbs), W. L. Martin (Raglan), MT.'s, were, passengers from Wellington to Auckland by the Limited this morning.
