VEHICULAR FERRIES.
« OLD LANDING VACATED. NEW WHARF AT ST. MARY'S BAY. All the vehicular ferries across the harbour are now berthing at the new wharf on the eastern reclamation. The old vehicular landing alongside Prince's wharf is being dismantled. The pontoon which supported it will be overhauled, and then installed in tHe new wharf inside St. Mary's Bay breakwater. The new wharf is expected to be opened in about a month's time and Vehicles for Birkenhead and Northcote will embark there. The Devonport vehicular ferries will continue to use the east landing.
