A STATE BANK. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN VENTURE.

ADELAIDE, September 18. The South Australian public have subscribed 35 per cent of the £500,000 i loan for the State Bank of South Australia. The Commonwealth Bank and some of the trading banks have underwritten the balance. The State Bank offered 5% per cent debentures at 99, free of State taxation.
