NEGLIGENT DRIVING.
ACCOUNTANT FINED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. For negligently driving a car on- the Ngaruawahia Eoad, Bertram Sydney Spencer, accountant, of Auckland, was fined £2 and costs to-day. It was shown that the car skidded in loose metal when travelling at an excessive speed round a bend. It went partly over a bank, but recovered and shot across the road and collided with a meat van.
