MR. JAMES THOMSON.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this clay. Mr. James Thomson, an old resident of Waihi, collapsed and died yesterday afternoon about 4.30 near the East End School, when on his way home from work. Mr. Thomson, who was 75, had been employed as engine-driver by the Waihi Gold Mining Company for many years. He was a native of Paisley, Scotland. He leives an adult family. One of his sons is Mr. James S. Thomson, an electrician employed by the Waihi Company at Victoria Battery, Waikino.
