MR. GUY WILSON WELCOMED.
c PLEASED WITH AUCKLAND. At a lunch given to-day in the Farmers' Trading Company's rooms, Mr. Guy Wilson, the famous rladodil grower and hybridiser, was welcomed by the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Horticulture. In replying to the welcome, Mr. Wilson said he was realising the dream of his life in coming to this part of the world. He had been only a few hours in New Zealand, comparatively speaking, but he had had time to have a brief look round Auckland, and from what he had seen it was a veritable "Garden of Eden."
