On the Eandwick tracks to-day the New Zealand horse Nightmareh, with Ncdda, galloped a sterling mile in 1.42 with the flags out 20ft.
Paquito did a mile on the tan in 1.431 and left Arikinui well behind. Winalot had the best of Mollison by a length over nine furlongs in 1.50 A.
Limerick took 1.30 for seven furlongs and walked off lame.
Inducement has an injured foot. This has caused a sensation among racing men.
