ANOTHER METEORITE.
REPORTED AT GREY LYNN. BRILLIANT FLASH OF TAIL. Another meteorite is reported to have fallen in Auckland. Shortly before 11.30 last night a brilliant flash appeared in the sky, and it was thought that in its race towards the earth it would land near Grey Lynn. No report of any damage having been done or of any hole in the earth, has been made, but people who saw the flash are sure that it was something more unusual than a falling star. Its head, they say, was over a foot across, and it had a brilliant tail of nearly a hundred feet. Its light died when it appeared to be about 500 feet above the ground.
