AUCKLAND STEAMER SOLD.
MATANGI ON NELSON RUN. WORKING WITH ARAHUBA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The ferry steamer Matangi, which during the last three months ha 3 been under charter by the Northern Steamship Company to the Anchor Shipping Company, has been purchased by the latter. It is the intention of the Anchor Company to thoroughly overhaul the Matangi, making considerable alterations in her passenger accommodation, when the vessel will run in the Wellington-Nelson service in conjunction with the Arahura.
