TECHNICAL EDUCATION.
THE CONTROL OF SCHOOLS. CONFERENCE RESOLUTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Technical Education Conference adopted a remit opposing abolition of local control, and suggesting that, in any revision of regulations for the control of post-primary schools, regard should he paid to the representation of industrial, commercial, and agricultural interests on the controlling boards.
