WOMAN RECEIVER SENTENCED

TWENTY-THREE CONVICTIONS THREE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. ■ (Br Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. Margaret Cusworth (45), a woman with twenty-three previous convictions, was sentenced to-day to three months' imprisonment on a charge of receiving sroods knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. The police stated the accueed on the day of the present offence had been convicted of drunkenness and had been discharged from gaol about 11 o'clock in the morning, but, instead of going home, had gone on a drinking bout.
