SOCIAL CLUB.
The weekly meeting ,of the Remuera Young People's Social Club took place last night in the Eemuera Methodist school hall. The first part of the' programme was devoted to a Spanish scene, durino , which choruses were sung by the gentlemen (who were very gaily clad), a duet by Messrs. Gapper and Mayall, and a recitation by Mr. Gapper. The second part of the. programme was a set of Jewish sketches by Messrs. Dare and Gapper. after which Mr. Phillips gave several humorous numbers. The last part was taken up with negro spirituals, during which a solo was rendered by Mr. Craven,
