GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP.
PRESENTATION TO PRENTICE,
v A fine footballer and a good all-round sport of the unobtrusive kind, Prentice, of the Richmond Club am] representative Rugby League player, has met with a good deal of adversity on the field in the last few. seasons. Amongst his injuries he suffered a broken nose. He has been put to a good deal of medical expense, but has never at any time made a claim upon the insurance fund provided by the League. A number of officials and admirers of this player have got together and raised a tidy sum which, it is thought, will represent a fitting recognition of sportsmanship. The presentation, in suitable form, will 'be made at the'meeting of the Auckland Rugby League Glee Club on Friday evening.
