STOLEN FROM CARS.
WIANY ARTICLES FOUND. YOUNG MAN ARRESTED*. : SLEEPING IN OLD HUT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Suspected of offences in Auckland and Hamilton, a young man named Douglas Wright was arrested ' last night by Detective White. Wright had for some time been sleeping in an old hut in London Street, Where . the detective found nume'roiis articles, including motor rugs, motor gloves, motor clock, a hot water bottle, and -i other goods, which Wright admitted he had stolen from cars r in Hamilton and Auckland. The police are now looking for the owners orf these articles. Wright, 19 years old, was remanded till August >14 on a charge of theft. The detective mentioned it would be necessary to make numerous inquiries regarding' his operations. He was also suspected of having robbed various gas meters in the town. ' v
