The Minister of Education sent ,a telegram .to the Board of Governors of the Whangarei High School as follows: "I have decided to approve of the removal of the manual training building to the High School site, and have advised the Auckland Education Board accordingly." This is not in accord with tlie board's proposals to on its own property a modern woodwork room 011 the site of the new school, and an up-to-date, cookery room on the old High School site- t New and exclusive millinery, frocks, costumes, underwear, corsets, etc., for spring now on display at Smith and Caughey's. Walk through these departments and inspect the latest creations.— (Ad.)
