DELANEY V. SCHACK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Delaney, who arrives here to-night, will fight Sammy Sehack on August 17.
PAEROA AMATEUR BOUTS,
The Te Aroha Boxing Association's amateur tournament, to be held at Paeroa, has been postponed from Monday next until next Friday. The receipts of the tourney will go toward the Paeroa War Memorial fund.
ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.
INQUIRER. —Charlie Purdy made his first appearance in the Auckland amateur championships in 1920, when he won the bantam title. He and Cyril McCarthy had byes in the first round. In the second round Purdy beat McCarthy and he defeated Dunn in the final.
