KIRK WINDEYER CUP. MORPETH IN GOOD FORM. The secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association has received the following cable from Melbourne, regarding the Kirk Windeyer team: "Magnificent hospitality and weather. Morpeth returned 72 and Ross 73 at the Commonwealth links, and Morpeth 71 at the Mertopolitan course. Black and Horton are very steady. The team is resting today for the qualifying round of the State championship to-morrow. The strongest field ever in Australasia is competing for the 16 places."
