BASKETBALL
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION.
At the fortnightly meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Basketball Association application, was receded from the Boy Scouts' Association for the iiM- of WeUesley Street courts on August 3%n the occasion of the 21st anniversary of their movement. The application was granted, and an offer of the use of the D send a team of nine girls and two emergencies to the tournament at Christchurch in August. The selectors, Misses Lee, Ogllvie and Gebbie, notified the committee that the representative team will be chosen on Saturday next. No application will be made for the 1930 tournament to be held in Auckland.
