TRAM RAILS.

QUESTION OF SHIPMENT

Urging that proposed tramway extensions should be executed at the earliest possible moment, Mr. M. J. Coyle at to-day's meeting of the Auckland Transport Board asked if the board had received any advice as to when tram tracks that would be required for the work would come to hand. It had been stated previously that as soon as the tracks were on the water the work would be put in hand immediately. The chairman (Mr. J. A. C. Allum) said the board was in constant touch with the agents for the contracting firm, and further telegraphed advice as to the Shipping of the rails would be received at the end of the present month.
