The chairman reported that a deputation from the National Council of Women had waited upon him asking for the provision of more shelters; for the exhibition of bus time-tables at starting points; and for intending passengers to be allowed to board buses immediately after their arrival at the various termini. Baildon, Phelan and Rhodes be set up to deal with the question of shelters, with power to act in respect of four shelters recommended by the manager as being needed at the corner of Mountain Road and Khyber Pass, between Esplanade Road and Edenvale Road (Mount Eden route), in Epsom Avenue for the Onehunga route, and between Coombes Road and Walton Street (Victoria Avenue route).
