NEARLY SETTLED.

FISH TRADE DISPUTE

As a result of a sitting of the Conciliation Council, an agreement has been reached on nearly all the disputed points between the Auckland fish trade employees (other than fishermen) and their employers. There are still several clauses which the employers desire to consider further, and for that purpose a meeting held to-day was adjourned. It is hoped to complete the agreement. Mr. P. Hally presided at the sitting, the assessors for the men being Messrs. A. McKenzie, C. Lean and M. G. Gleeson, and for the employers Messrs. A. W. Brockie, F.- H. Glaxton and S. E. Wright.
