OBITUARY.

MRS. ELLEN FULLJAMES.

A highly respected resident of Auckland Mrs. Ellen Fulljames, wife of Mr. Albert Fulljames, died on July 20, at her home, 5, Minto Road, Remuera. Born in England Mrs. Fulljames was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Hoskins who came to New Zealand with his family in the ship Lady Jocelyn in 1882. Mies Hoskins was married in 1888 to Mr. Alfred Fulljames, who was at that time in business at Waiuku. Subsequently they lived at Tuakau and Takapuna. For the. last ten years Mr. and Mrs. Fulljames have resided at Remuera. Mrs. Fulljames was well known in religious and philanthropic circles, being a prominent member of the W.C.T.U., having charge of the Maori work of that society. At an early age 6he joined the Congregational Church in Bristol, and on arrival in New Zealand transferred to Beresford Street Congregational Church, of which she has been a member for nearly 50 years. Particularly during her early association with the church she took a very active interest in Sunday school and* Bible class work. During the war she was very active in Bed Cross work, being president of the Milford Women's Patriotic League. Her death is deeply mourned by her husband and son, Mr. Stanley Fulljames of this city, as well as by a large circle of friends.
